Part 1: Intro
This is my guide to better gaming. Most of you will find this very helpful. Now for the guide:
Part 2: No-No's
If you find yourself guilty of committing any one of these crimes, you need to seriously re-think your life.
You should NOT, under any circumstances:
1. Camp. Camping is BAD. Spawn camping is even worse. What is Camping? It's sitting in a dark corner or somewhere where you can ambush players without them not knowing what hit them. Spawn camping is camping at the re-spawn place and shooting people before they even get a chance to move forward. The ONLY reason to camp is if your a sniper. The ONLY reason, and even then it's not a good idea.
2. Cheat. Cheating is worse than camping. There is NO reason to cheat. A true gamer doesn't need cheats to beat a game. Using cheats shows that you are no good at all. It's a signal for hackers to wipe your hard drive.
3. Looting. Looting is not as bad as camping or cheating, but it's bad. What is looting? Looting is taking other people's kills and/or items depending on the game. It shows your incapability to much more than breathe.
4.PK (Player Killing). Player killing is when a newbie is trying to build his character, you come through and kill him and take his stuff. Only higher level players are pks. It's always courteous to warn fellow players of pk's.
5. Team Killing. Self-explanatory.
Part 3A: Survival tips: FPS
When playing a First-Person Shooter, never pass by ammo unless you have a really powerful melee weapon.
RULE NUMBER ONE: ALWAYS BE ON THE MOVE. A moving target is MUCH harder to hit than a sitting duck. If you remember only one thing from this guide, let this rule be it.
If your opponent is in range, so are you.
Never try a shot you know you can't get. Except for covering fire.
Covering fire is good. Use it.
Shadows are your friend.
Never use a joystick instead of a mouse. Mouse-look is always better.
Part 3B: Survival Tips: RPG's
Save often.
Always pick up items. Even if you can't use them, you can sell them.
Always have the best armor and weapons you can equip. If you don't have enough money, go get some.
Don't take too many risks.
